Six-line wrasse eats pods, crustaceans from the sand bed and live rock. It will eat other readily available food. It is a great addition for anyone who has matured sand bed where pods are thriving. It also eats parasitic snails that hitch alone with all giant clams. This is a hardy little fish where its movement reminds me of dolphin.
FYI, I do not think that six-line wrasse would sleep in a cocoon. Parrotfish? Its larger cousin would do that. I think you are been misinformed.
