1/31/02 Tank set up, 20lb live rock from 1.5 years old 55g reef tank, new 20lb live sand an air pump skimmer
2/14/02 add foxface; looking foe emperor angel
3/1/02 ordered emperor online and hold for 2 weeks
3/15/02 red sea juvenile emperor arrived
3/16/02 emperor heavey breath and got few spots, begin lower salinity
3/17/02 terriable ich outbreak
3/19/02 achived salinity to 1.008, still got spots but the breath getting normal
3/21/02 no spots on body, little cloudy looks on fin
3/23/02 fish looks normal and health only ate brine shrimp ignore flake and pellet
3/25/02 start to count for 3 weeks hyposalinity
3/29/02 start eating pellets and flakes
4/4/02 taking photo and post
Observe:
Live rock with coraline algae were covered with green algae because of hyposalinity
All live creatures on live rock are gone but got a few rocks in a container and keep without fish
Once the treatment is done those rocks in container will putting back to seed the rocks in 20g tank
I will keep reporting to see what's going on to my emperor
