I living inL.A I am freshmen whenI asked store about RO and drinking water has any differen there say salt water need purewater to made .but bouth water gothrough filter. even my house use 5 stage filter to made drinking still not pure enough I confuse , Please give me a hand . 用在養魚上的話應該沒有太大的不同....因為海水本身就不是純水泡出來的....
除非是住在污染特別嚴重....飼主不放心...

the reason why the store say it's not pure enough is because not every R.O. D.I. unit can filter out all silicate.
Only a few unit can actually do that. But don't worry about it, I am using my household R.O. unit to serve as my top-off water. And if there is silicate from the water, the algae in your tank will take it out for you.
