Genus: Favia
Species: Lizardensis
It is a common coral found in shallow water communities that are not dominated by Acropora. Usually around reef flats and fringing reefs where the water is turbid. Under good water condition might produce sting tentacles attacking the neighboring corals. Calcium addition would enhance its growth. Requires medium to bright lighting. Easily infecting brown jelly disease if other corals fell on it or placed next to an aggressive neighbor. Hope this helps.
