I also got aother question in regards to the Reef Fanatic Elec MH Kit - Spider Reflector for 400W radium. Who is the maker of this ballast? I know it's hard to get an Ice Cap elec 400W ballast now.

Dear Bob,
Reef Fanatic is in the process of moving away from main stream retail to manufacturing. We have a manufacturing facilities in Vietnam and Thailand which we use to manufacture most of our aquarium products and other after market automobile products. We will be releasing our second generation of 400W electronic ballast in the near future. The quality and performance of the second generation is far greater than the current model.
The president of Icecap has been talking to us regarding making OEM ballast for them. The company that they use for their 400W ballast is not able to supply a reliable product. This is the reason why you cannot and will not find Icecap 400W ballast anywhere in stock.

We are thinking about obtaining UL for our ballast. Therefore, we are not sure yet if we want to release the ballast or wait until the UL process takes place.
