I assume it won't work well with Zeovit method. How about other system?

Yeah. That's where I switched from marinepure ceramic media to siporax. Might just go with a bunch of azoo bio glass. Probably not as much surface area as siporax but for the price difference I can just get way more azoo and hopefully it'll have similar effect. At least there'll be more space for pods to grow.

The evolution of reef keeping: Undergravel - Wet/Dry - Bioballs - DSB - Plenum - MUD - Berlin - Bare Bottom w/Liverock - Zeovit - Balling

and now we are going back to Bioballs

It's just like fashion. What's old becomes new again. I was pegging pants back in high school, now skinny jeans are back in style. Wonder if bugle boy pants are going to make a come back.
